This ten-page tutorial contains color illustrations and photographs. The instructions are written with the beginner in mind. The design does not require expensive supplies, only several sizes of seed beads in matching colors. Suggestions for making earrings and necklaces are included. If you bead a lot, you still will benefit from having a handy reference to switching between ladder stitch and brick stitch, decreasing in brick stitch, and diagrams for the “quickstart” ladder stitch. The diagrams and text are large.
The pattern instructions were edited by one of the top technical editors in beading, Melinda Barta, previously an editor at Beadwork magazine.
