Description
This listing is for an automatic download PDF file for the Plush Tassel Necklace beading tutorial. Materials are not included. If you need a printed copy, please contact me.
You will weave a beadcap-disguised-as-medallion, matching chain and bar and loop clasp. The beads you will use include 2-hole CzechMates bars and triangles, 2mm firepolished, 2.8mm drops and 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads. You will embellish your tassel strands with 3.4mm drops, small daggers or spiky buttons.
In addition, you will learn my original technique for twisting strands of beads with a battery-operated cord twister, and how to assemble the resulting strands into a tassel. The hollow beadcap covers the tassel cords that are enclosed in a beaded tube.
This design would make a lovely wedding accessory!
This tutorial includes instructions for all parts of the necklace, including
– bead focal with CzechMates two-hole triangles and shims or bars
– twisted bead tassels, ruff and attachment to focal
– beaded strap
– beaded button and loop clasp
All parts of this design were created by me. This is an intermediate to advanced design, but the directions are very detailed and once you master the joining of bars and bugles in the round, you’ll be on your way to completing the entire design.
